Since December 2022 she is Senior Scientist at International Research School of Planetary Sciences-IRSPS at UdA.<\/p>\n<p>Her scientific interest and expertise are in Paleontology of Cenozoic calcareous nannofossils, with special interests on Biostratigraphy, Biochronology and the use of nannofossils in studies related to paleoceanographic and paleoclimate reconstructions. She has a long-term experience of Scientific Ocean Drilling through the participation to six ODP and IODP expeditions as paleontologist of calcareous nannofossils (ODP Legs 138, 154, 167, 199, 208; IODP Exp. 378) and to IODP Exp. 320-321 as Co-Chief Scientist.<\/p>\n<p>She was Chair of Subcommission on Neogene Stratigraphy \u2013 SNS of the International Commission on Stratigraphy &#8211; ICS from 2012 to 2020.
