and 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW212219797 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW212219797 BCX0\">During his PhD he worked on the stratigraphy (palynology-based) of Devonian and Carboniferous strata, applying zonation schemes from Gondwana and surrounding regions. At PDO (Oman) he was in charge of the Paleozoic Stratigraphy in the GeoSolutions team, including the scientific guidance of the company&#8217;s PalyLab. Well litho- and biostratigraphic correlation were regular workflows in ODM\/IC and StrataBugs. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW212219797 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW212219797 BCX0\">Since 2019 he has been heading Chronosurveys, a consulting company focused on biostratigraphy. In that role he worked with projects from around the World, from Ediacarian to recent strata, in conjunction with other consultants, using different biostratigraphic disciplines.
