Research summary She has a geological and paleontological background and specializes in the study of fossilization and the structural characterization of paleontological samples (biomaterials) through modern analytical methods and techniques, in collaboration with scientific institutes such as the NCSR “Demokritos”and the National Research Foundation.

Her scientific fields of interest also include Vertebrate Paleontology, Taphonomy, Geoarcheology and Archeometry.

She works as Laboratorial Teaching staff in the Department of Historical Geology & Paleontology of the Department of Geology & Geoenvironment, teaching at both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level
