Industrial & Environmental Applications in Micropaleontology (IdEA-M) MSc program is implemented in the facilities of the Department of Geology & Geoenvironment, particularly in the Laboratory of Historical Geology and BioGeosciences.

The laboratory may provide the following services: thin sections of rocks, sediments and fossils; retrievement and preparation of fossils; construction of fossil casts; identification of nano-, micro-, macro- fossils and palynomorphs; biostratigraphic analyses; carbonate microfacies; analysis of sediments and sedimentary environments; preparation of samples for stable isotope analysis; marine geology surveys; protection of Geological Heritage, etc.
