The MSc Dissertation subject, supervisor and the other two members of the Examination Committee are assigned by the Coordinating Committee following the application of the students who have been successfully examined in all courses of the first two semesters. The dissertation must be completed during the third semester of the Programme.  

The subject of the thesis is original, and practical/applied or research oriented.  

The MSc dissertation is submitted to the Examination Committee and defended in public. The thesis is graded with a score of zero to ten (0-10). The examination of a postgraduate dissertation is considered successful when the student receives at least two (2) positive votes from the Examination Committee. Once approved, the dissertation is submitted to the NKUA Institutional Repository “PERGAMOS”, in accordance with the decisions of the Senate of the NKUA. 

 The postgraduate students sign a declaration of non-infringement of intellectual property. This declaration should be appended to all submitted dissertations.
