Research summary:  As a geologist with a specialization in carbonate sedimentology, reservoir geology, and reservoir characterization, his research focuses on understanding and quantifying microporosity, as well as conducting detailed petrographic and sedimentological analyses.

He has an extensive background in examining geological formations from the Triassic to the Recent periods, working across diverse regions including the South China Sea, Malaysia, Oman, Lebanon, Greece, and Pakistan. His expertise in microporosity quantification has enabled him to provide critical insights into the storage capacities and fluid flow characteristics of various reservoirs, significantly impacting the development and management of these resources. Petrographic analysis and sedimentological studies form the core of my work, allowing me to reconstruct depositional environments and diagenetic histories that are essential for accurate reservoir characterization.
