Dr. Jeremy Young (University College London and Natural History Museum London) will teach:

• Coccolithophore biomineralisation – how it is reflected in coccolith structure and polarising light images and why it is fundamental to
  classification and identification of coccoliths.
• Modern Coccolithophore Biology and Taxonomy
• Mikrotax, Nannotax and included occurrence databases – background, uses,
  limitations, etc

in a hybrid mode (online frontal lectures and onsite/online practicals) on January 14 and 15, 2026.
