SEMESTER: 3rd   

LEARNING OUTCOMES 

After the successful completion of the Dissertation the student will be in a position to:

  • Conduct an in-depth study of a subject within the scientific disciplines included in the PSP,  
  • Utilize obtained, relevant skills and knowledge to develop the ability to integrate data and information,  
  • Seek appropriate scientific information from the related scientific literature,  
  • Combine knowledge and utilize specialized skills to solve complex applied problems, or new problems within a wider multidisciplinary frame that is relevant to the PSP,  
  • Choose the appropriate methods/approaches and adapt them to the scientific problem that is under investigation, using innovative thinking,  
  • Analyze scientific results and draw conclusions,  
  • Compose a comprehensive scientific/ technical essay,  
  • Clearly and effectively communicate his/her scientific results, as well as the theoretical background and used scientific approach, through the successful completion of a comprehensive, multimedia-based presentation to the examining committee.
