Research summary: During his time as a Foraminiferal Biostratigrapher at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland UK and at the University of Peshawar, Pakistan (2007-2024), he regularly utilized a variety of advanced analytical techniques to extract the maximum amount of information from foraminiferal assemblages.
He has extensive experience in conducting stable isotope analysis (δ13C and δ18O) on foraminiferal tests. This has allowed him to reconstruct changes in paleoceanographic conditions, such as temperature, salinity, and primary productivity, which are crucial for understanding depositional environments and paleoclimate trends.
